I myself was a very nervous driver when I first started. The only way to get over this is to just start driving. Go on small trips first and expand on them each time. Don't give in to the easy solution of letting someone else drive as you won't know yourself once you have the hang of it.

practice plenty. The extra you practice, the extra suited you get, then you definitely should not be so worried anymore. i'm sixteen and the 1st time I EVER operated a automobile became in driving force's Ed some months in the past, with *no* previous practice or expertise of something. My mothers and fathers hadn't taken my using in any respect, on a similar time as quickly as I had a enable. It became rather frightening. i finished up failing the "using" component to the direction, yet did I kill everybody? Nope. through fact then, i've got been out practising a minimum of four circumstances a week and that i'm making plans on taking the DOT attempt to get my license sometime interior the very close to destiny. in simple terms attempt to not be worried. practice, practice, practice. each and every thing would be wonderful. pay interest to issues, be organic. you will get there

I know a lot of people in a situation like yours. I think first you should go and practice driving in a place that is familiar to you and small area like your neighbourhood. But you should do so with someone with you who can drive. Do this a few times. When your confident grow, try driving to a much wider areas but familiar roads. Good luck

The best way to help with this is get hold of an old car and a paddock that is rather large and just drive until you either break the car, a tree, the paddock or yourself.

My daughter was scared too, at first. After she got her driving license, she often asked me to go with her. My presence helped her to get confidence. After a while, she drove by her self, without any assistance.

Have a friend take you out or take a driving course to help get your confidence up. Just don't let any of your immediate family teach you. It can be extremely stressfull for both parties.
