If the tank cracked don't mess up and try to epoxy re bond or other type of repair it has reached the end of the road go to radatior shop and buy a new one you will be surprised how cheep. Around $100 out the door. Why risk the engine by overheating it. OH by the way material is either high temp polyacrylic or cyclolac abs. some are polycarbonate.
