I am looking for an honest dealership to work for.I found this great,good reputation, independent dealer who sells pontiacs.I need to know if this product is any good,or it will be impossible for me to sell it.If there are auto fanatics,owners,or people really into auto industry,please give me your advise

I just moved to cali from missouri and my girl has lived here all her life, she is telling me anything not stock, blue headlights and underbody lights, any kind of light that isnt stock is illegal, i am disagreeing with her saying that as long as it is dot approved that its legal, someone help me, am i wrong?? any website with laws on this subject would help alot, thank you

My son-in-law has bought a new C5 and noticed
that the first service is not untill 30K (18000miles).

Is there a company or something of that sort that would drive my kids and 2 of my neighbors to school everyday. because i really have a schedule that doesnt allow me to pick y kids up or have them in a carpool neither does my neighbor which both our kids go to the same school. So is there something like that in the San Fernando Valley that would take my neighbors kids and my kids to school in North Hollywood?

Do all VW cars have faulty electrical? My sister had a 1997 jetta with bad wiring and everything was flakey. My brother has a 1992 corrado with major electrical issues also. Is this normal with these cars? I know they are getting older but none of my nissan's do this.

Hello friends,

I was just browsing the classifieds and looking at the used cars section and noticed how a lot of the ads will list things such as 'low mileage' or list how many thousands of miles the car has such as '50k miles' and things of that nature.

I don't know too much about cars, but what is the significance of how many miles a car has in relation to its performance or whatever else you can gauge about the car by looking at how many miles has been logged onto the car?

Does having more miles on a car mean that it will break down a lot, or how can you tell? What is a safe amount of miles to look at when buying a used car, because I've seen used cars in the ads that range from 20k to 200k miles logged onto the car. Any other tips?

And just a side rant, man, a lot of these 'used' cars cost so much money, even though they are many years old and have many thousands of miles on them. You might as well buy a new car for how much some of these cars are listed for in the classifieds.

We bought a van 3 years ago for an outrageous interest rate.. had yucky credit at the time. now we are doing much better but the finance company wont refinance.. can we refinance with another lender? we owe like 8k and its worth 4. ouch. also considered trading it in for another one, taking the loss but getting a lower rate on a newer vehicle with new warranty etc. the old one is starting to nickel and dime us..or should we just pay it off and never ever do that again??

I have a 17 yr old that has already gotten 2 tickets so I want him off my policy - as he is making it too expensive for me to afford -
I told him he needs to get his own insurance. I already called my insurance and tried taking him off my policy (as I took away his driving privelages) but they told me I HAVE TO keep him on my policy even if he doesn't drive - He has a license and has to be covered under my policy because he lives with me - so I can't take him off til he gets his own insurance. My problem - most co's will not issue a policy to anyone under 18 (PS - we live in New Jersey)
