i have a steel plate in my head, wired to my skull with metal wire. and i have several piercings as well. the metal detector never goes off.
abbey356-FYI, it is a metal detector and last time i checked stainless or galvanized steel are both still metals and can therefore be detected IN A METAL DETECTOR. and id love you to point out someone with galvanized jewelry. all mine are titanium, and/or surgical stainless. im fairly certain that galvanized jewelry would be poisonous.

Of course you can go through, but i think you might set it off. If you had the bottle to go through with a piercing like that, dropping your pants in the airport shouldn't be too traumatic. lol

What high priorities you have in life, are you hoping they will ask you to remove it at the check point or what, maybe you could limit your humiliation by not doing this, and I'm sure the Lady's would be much happier not going to the ER with internal bleeding due to your odd thinking, also consider if you try passing in a country like in south American you could go to jail for a fue weeks with some room mates that could make your life very horrible .'''''''''''''''
