My ford focus brake lights dont come off when Im driving the car allways has the brake lights on even though I press the brake lights It dosent show that they are working because they are allways on

switch made by the brake pedal. on some new ones reads off the master cylinder. I don't remember if the are normally open or closed circuits. If there is a switch that the arm of the pedal comes off of when you press the pedal adjust it. just look under the dash.

Sometimes, the switch at the back of the pedal arm can come loose. It may just need to be adjusted. Pushing the pedal usually lets the switch out. When the pedal is released, it pushes back into the switch.

Probqably a bad switch, which is located behind the brake pedal.Look behind the brake pedl and you will see it.
Not expensive to buy and easy to put in

Faulty wiring and it could be dangerous. Have it fixed.
