I am interested in removing the engine from my 1983 Subaru GL sedan, and was curious as to whether there is a comparably sized or even close to compatible diesel engine that I could swap into my car. My current engine is 1.8 L, 5-speed manual. Basically, I want to convert my car to run on vegetable oil or biodiesel and I want to know if it is at all possible given its age and size.

The engine is heating up to about 275 degrees. Once it gets up that high, it can drop quickly to about 170. It has boiled over once. It is full of antifreeze. I know it could be the thermostat that is broken, but could there be something wrong inside the engine?

It has an electric fan set with a start at 195 and a stop at 170. It does turn on.

How hard/stressful is it, having 0 experience, to get your private or commercial pilot's license? I'm mainly looking at those 1+ year expensive schools that offer both.

i have an '03 Honda CRV. am due for a 30,000 mile tune up. was told it would be about $350 at the Honda Dealership. Does that sound reasonable? he said it would take about 3 hours to do.

Doing 70 M.P.H. where the speed limit is 65 M.P.H.

I'm on the right lane of a three lane highway.

Everyone keeps passing me on the left, so I'm estimating their speed limit is 75 to 85 M.P.H.

No Police cruisers in sight or stopping anyone.

Again, what is going on?

Police policies of when and how to taser a person are way too liberal. We as americans need to to our elected officials that we only want tasers to be used in deadly situations. Police officers will tase people for small resaons because their policies allow it. Ive even read news stories about innocent people getting tased because they were mistaken for somebody else.
