go to ebay and check out this item.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/88-up-GM-CHEVY-PONTIAC-CAR-STEREO-RADIO-WIRE-HARNESS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ38636QQihZ002QQitemZ120013892505QQrdZ1 its an aftermarket radio wire harness that will fit your car. Make sure you dont cut the factory harness. This one plugs right in and you hook up the radio to this harness. They work great. I bought one last week for my 2003 Grand Am. And the best part is its only 8.00 to your door.!

Don't cut the factory wiring harness! Go to Best Buy or circuit city. They sell a color coded harness that you wire to the custom stereo and it plugs into the factory harness! Then if you sell or wreck your car, you can take your new radio with you easily.

a lot of stereo places sell aftermarket wiring kits that clip in to the old harness and then all the colors will match on the new harness side. Try for those

But yes, DON'T remove the old harness!!
