Whenever you are a passenger in a car, pay attention to the driver and what they are doing. Watch the traffic, ask questions and read a learner's manual. I bet there are dozens of places on the net you could find out traffic safety rules and tips. Like this one:

Find a big open area away from eveything and mash the gas cut the wheel all the way to one side. Then as car spins out of control keep trying differen't ways to get car back in control.
That is what I did up North to learn how to drive in snow.

REACTIONS KEEP IN MIND THAT DIRT MUD AND GRAVEL ALL ARE THE WORST AS THEY BUILD UP IN FRONT OF THE TIRE WHILE IT IS SLIDING AND YOU CAN FLIP IT OVER VERY QUICK SEE HOW THE CAR GOES THROUGH ON DIFF. A lot of practice and talking to adults that have a lot of experience both with obeying the law and not obeying the law. Talk to someone who has a lot of tickets and even someone who has landed themself in jail due to a traffic violation. I'm sure they'll tell you that it wasn't worth it when they could have just obeyed the law in the first place.

a lot of it is common sense, but memorization is key and confidence is very important when you're on the road
