along the bottom edges of the car. The auto shop man says it's a gravel protection application that's used on all Toyota Corollas. I've never seen anything like this before. Have you? Is this someting that really works, or am I being 'had.'?

So I am about to buy an '04 Pontiac Vibe--everything looks good, but I wanted to ask a Q about the GM Protection Plan warranty. The brochure the manager gave me says that, since the car is still in the original warranty for 2 more months, that an extended GMPP warranty would start when the car was first purchased and at 0 miles. But the dealer's manager said that the brochure she gave me was old, and that the warranty would start on the date I buy the car. I'm thinking of a 3 yr/36000 mile warranty, but if it starts when the car was first bought, it would be basically worthless. Also, I won't sign a contract w/o it saying what's covered, but she showed me the contract and it doesn't have any of that on it.

I know I've asked a lot a questions here and have gotten some really good answers, so I'm hoping for one more good answer...

My 300 Cu. In. Ford engine runs on propane. While I was going up a hill and on the freeway the other day it had significantly less power than previously. I changed the intake manifold gasket because it looked cracked. There is a Clifford head on the engine (I don't know if that makes any difference). If I stand on the gas pedal, the engine doesn't get any more gas than normal. I also checked the throttle linkage and that was fine and tight. I also had the transmission guys check out the tranny and it's fine also.

The system is only about 2 months old, so I don't think anything should go wrong with it...help?

I have a Alpine CDA-9851 deck, Alpine 12" Type R SWR, and an alpine v power amp, but I cant remember what it is. (It was about $250 last august)

I have no idea about anything on subwoofers. I found a few online but I dont know what the stats mean. Ive seen ones...22hz-500hz, 20 - 200hz...and 100watt - 2000watt. I want something that my stereo and amp will push, and I want super deep bassa s well as alot of it. But I dont know which one to get. Though I know I want a 15" sub, single preferably. But 2 is better, I just dont have the trunk space because of work stuff. So which sub is good? Rockford Fosgate 15" STAGE 3 P315D4, or, Alpine 15" R series? Or something else like sony? And what is better, high db or lower?

one motor is a Japan made chevy 4 cyl DOHC and one should be a honda v-tec 4 cyl both have borg warner T-5 ---5-SPEEDS should i belive it is only a different wiring harness,both are fuel rail injection as well, I want to change to another motor type because the isuzu or japan chevy only around 17mpg and not built well and most die around 70.000 miles my 1998 is dead, but very nice to look at, WHAT TO DO?????HELP....
