I feel you! I get the same problem..At one point i didn't wash my car for 2 weeks, during which the skies were so clear. And upon washing (a tough one after 2 weeks), it rained immediately after the car dried.
Like is like that. I think of it as a blessing... some think i'm crazy

If this is true could you come to Iowa and wash your car! The farmers are freaking out about the lack of rainfall. I don't blame them. But seriously yes I have noticed a correlation between washing the car and it raining. Not in NW Iowa right now, but before this season YES.

When you wash your car the water you used evaporates and rises into the sky. It mixes with fine dust and forms a cloud and rains back down on your car. Next time wash your car inside your garage and keep it in there for a few days until the cloud dissipates.

Don't you get it man....the American Indian Rain Dance and the hand movements for washing the cars are so similar that the Rain Gods become confused....try more of a "wax on wax off" motion! This should do the trick!

The only thing I have to say is if you live in the state of Washington that would be the answer. I heard it rains 9 months out of the year there.

Murphy's Law. But make the best of it. Only wash your car when it rains! you'll have all the water you need and you can just use a soapy sponge. The rain will rinse it for you.

You should live in Las Vegas. It rains, like, less than once a month here...but then again it's been between 100 and 115 degrees for about two months.
