I have a 94 lincoln mark 8 and i want to convert the stock headlights to the bright HID ones. Someone told me that i would have to replace the light housiing, but i have a friend with a motorcycle that didnt need to do nythig. the HID lights are basically plug and go. But what about the high temp. arent there any ones out there that don;t burn as hot??

I think I have a great idea for an invention that would operate you car’s power doors if you were ever locked out. I’m in the middle of getting a patent for it but wanted to know first what you guys thought. It is a small key fob type device that’s the size of the one that comes with your car keys.

The problem is I’m thinking that if someone ever saw this device in stores they would think: “For as much as I ever get locked out of my car, why would I need this device?”
Then again AAA has reported that 17% of its call outs in the past year was for lock outs.

So what do you think? If you were ever locked out of your car, would you buy a device that could reopen the doors in 3 seconds using a pass-code only you would know?

It will turn over, but never starts. It started dieing when I'd stop a few months before it completely shut down. I'd wait a few minutes and it'd start again. We have given it a complete tune up and changed the fuel filter and the distributer. When it died the last time, it wouldn't turn over or anything. Then we changed the distributor and it started turning over, but still will not crank. A friend of mine thinks the timing is off, but I have no idea how to check that or if it will be expensive to fix. Any ideas?

I took my boat to my sisters house with the intent to sell, because i don't have the driveway space to store it. When i found a buyer for the boat, I called and told her that i was coming to pick it up and she has hidden the boat from me. I notice this the most when I am backing out of a parking place w/ wheel slightly to the right. Once enough room to turn the wheel right to pull through the parking space performing a "u" turn. There is a loud pop from the right front , and sometimes enough to actually shake the suv.
