I don't when there is nobody in front or behind me. Seems like a waste of bulb life to indicate a turn to nobody. But then, I do mean nobody! If there are vehicles around, whether behind me or not, I will signal just in case I've missed something. But, in the middle of nowhere, with nobody around for miles, I won't turn them on.

The funny thing that you ask that because I am a person that uses my turning signals when I am driving. I may be using it to often though. This is truly funny... When I am in a private drive like at McDonald's or something like it I put on my turning signals when I am parking going down the lanes. I know I know it is completly dumb and hilarious at the same time. When I do it I catch myself on it and think why did I do that. To answer your question I over use my turning signals. SMILE

Pretty much always. Let's say 98% of the time to be honest, because everybody forget's a turn signal here and there, but you should be using it all the time. Alot of dummies don't because they don't think it's necessary, but when a fast car is approaching and you don't see it, if you don't have a signal on, that other car doesn't know your switching, and that's how alot of accidents happen.

Just use it all the time. Like I do.

I continuously use turn indicators... somewhat while i'm at artwork because of fact that Ipersistent a semi-trailer. What i are not getting is why human beings forget approximately them and velocity up from a rather huge distance away and decrease me off in the previous i can bypass a camper and come again into the dazzling lane??!!! i take advantage of them each and all of the time in my own truck as nicely because of fact it is like 2d nature to me and easily a courteous -- to no longer point out risk-free-- prepare. i do no longer bear in mind putting an illustration on any automobile that Ipersistent that reads all-powerful, clairvoyant or strategies reader. so a procedures as attempting to make a "Citizen's site visitors end"..... solid success with that one, you will greater advantageous than in all probability hearth up greater hassle than you need. I agree that some events would desire to be held to an identical prevalent that they enforce, yet of their case, i think of we can enable it slide because of fact that they placed their lives on the line daily for us.

Nearly. Sometimes people don't use them when they're in a "one-turn-only" lane, but its still useful to signal for people who don't necessarily see that fact, like pedestrians and bicyclists.

It's in your own best interest to use them. If you don't, you're endangering yourself as much as others. For instance, when you are going to turn, you slow down right beforehand. If you don't signal, then people speeding behind you will have little warning that you're going slow down and may rearend you. I hate it when that happens!
