the engine is new.bored .030..stock cam.ran good, but overheated immediately.only 60 70 mph travelling on highway kept temp at bay around 210 degrees.at first,i thought the 4 blade fan and 2 core factory radiator were not enough.the engine i had put around 100 miles on so far,ran great.but was driving it a few days ago.it bent a pushrod on number 4 cylinder.i changed that.adjusted the rocker with car running.backed off till it clattered.tightened back down 1/2 turn.now engine runs all crazy.it runs like several plug wires are switched around and still overheats badly.all wires are on right.tdc rotor is pointing to number one.so timing is correct. i want to go through entire valve adjusting procedure.i'm thinking engine builder tightened them all to tight.perhaps this causes the overheating.but.i cannot find anywhere on this big internet.a picture of which rocker arms are exhaust or intake.i see many places telling which to adjust but no one telling which is exh. or intake.help please.
