the average klm's for a car is 20'000 per year, so 200'000 klm's for an 11 year old car is not that bad, but it also depends on what it is. i would not touch a hyundai, daewoo, subaru, holden, or anything european with that many klm's on the clock

200,000 is a lot for any car regardless of year. A car with high mileage/Klm's will be a lot in upkeep. As a vehicle gets older, and used more. all of it's moving parts wear out. It is not uncommon for a typical repair to be $500.00, and if you need more than 1 per year, it is not worh the cost of keeping the vehicle.

200k Km is about average for a 1995 model. At that age, condition and service history are more important than the distance traveled. Properly cared for, it may have another 200k Km in it. If it's been poorly maintained to date, it may well be near ready for the breaker's yard.
