The centralized HQ for used vehicle distribution is in Philadelphia, PA with other outlets across the country. You can look up what is available in what part of the country, believe it or not, on Ebay. The screename being used is "USPS-al-pmsc". As of 7/29/06 there were three tractor trailer cabs and one sedan available. Vehicle sales update every week.

Contact a local post office and ask where there vehicles are auctioned off at when new vans are ordered. Being a govt facility, their auction may be grouped with other govt agencies.

You may not want to, these are Ford Explorer's and have many issues. I used to love seeing them come into the dealership because they always meant big money repairs. I would think about whether I wanted the headache before I bought one if I were in your shoes.

Depends on where you live "herdsman" the USPS hold AUCTIONS and the postmaster at your post office can answer this question easily. Or try...www.usps/auction.gov
