What is the law in Rutherford, NJ regarding abandoned automobiles on private property?

If I own the property, but not the car, how do I get rid of it legally. Also, it doesn't run, so its junk.

Unfortunately any garbage including abandoned automobiles that is on your property is your responsibility no matter how it got there. The local government can order you to clean it up and remove it. If you don't they will do it and add the cost onto your property tax bill.
