I am desperately want to find out if a villa I have fallen in love with is getting ready to be foreclosed on.

I wrote a contract on this particular property 5 days after it had come onto the market, over asking price with no contingencies outside normal inspections. The entire process had been a little less than normal, but bottom line after being asked for a 24 hour extension the sellers agent came back to me and stated they were withdrawing their listing immediately and he did not have any details as to why. The villa was taken off of the market 7 days after being listed on Feb. 28th.

I found out today (owners were having garage sale that my mother and sister happened to drive by) that the owners are moving out next week. I gave this a little more thought and looked up the Real Estate Tax Records and they are 3 years in arrears and owe almost $7,000.oo. Clearly they must be going thru foreclosure.

HOW DO I FIND OUT MORE SO I CAN BUY?

Hello! I am renting an apartment in NY. I found one and my application has been accepted. My question is: When should I received the keys? At the moment of signing or at the beginning of the lease? I should say that I will be paying the first month and the security deposit at the moment of signing (a week before the lease begins)

My sister just married some kinda moneymaker and they want to buy a home that just got built in Laguna Hills, CA. I told them to really think about it 'cause of the landslides, winds, non-privacy, but I think they're gonna tint the windows for privacy. I still think it's not safe 'cause glass just seems to weak to live in. The husband did mention the house is made of some type of petrosal glass. What do you guys think? Should they just rent or buy something else?

We are all old and or disabled, we have formed a co-op and have pancake breadfasts to help raise $ for attorney fees, etc. towards the purchasing of our mobilehome park. Owner put up a "Proposed Land Use for 100+ new homes and gave all residents a letter to be out by 8/08. If it comes down to us not being able to buy park, how long do I have if I quit paying my rent, before the owner can have me phisicaly removed? I would like to save as much $ as I can, there is no relocation $, and my home is too old to be moved, I moved in a year ago and bought the trailer from the owner of the park. I think he is greedy and trying to get all the $ he can out of us poor folks. I am looking at what my last option will be.

My name was added on the house when my father passed and now my mother wants me to buy her out and take full control of the house. I am confused since my name is already on the house can I even get a mortgage. I have never bought a house before so am I techinally a first time home buyer.
The house is on zillow.com for 430,000 but she is letting me have it for 225,000 which is a no brainer. I just don't know what I need to do. From what i have been reading i would like a 30 year fixed mortgage but I dont know if I even qualify for one.

I have a business under my name and the mail comes with the business name on it. My landlord is demanding proof that the business belongs to me, because my name isn't on the front. I don't want her to know my business. Is she allowed to do that? I live in Ontario.

We are moving across country, but want to leave some things in our house for staging purposes as well as the fact that one of us is staying for a number of months until the house gets sold. We are trying to figure out how much we are going to spend if we split the move up into two trips, or if it is cost prohibitive to do so. Thanks.

I was reading that housing prices are very low in Detroit right now in some cases less than the price of cars, would it be wise to buy property there, and sit on it hoping the prices would go up? I am from SoCal, and would like to invest in property, however the money needed just for a down payment in Southern Cal, could buy 2 or even 3 houses up there, and my thought is now that I am 30 in a few years when I am ready to retire I could make alot of money off of it. I know the economy is poor there, and its not a very desirable place to live right now, but it may be worth the gamble right now, as it may change in the future. What are your thoughts?
