I'm in DV shelter in east dallas I need housing innortheast Dallas . I recieve SSI monthly and i'm in need of a new start

However, you picked the most expensive section of town to try and live in. If you look for the apartment complexes behind the Brookhaven Community College then you will have found the cheapest district. I nicknamed it the "The Slums of Addison." The apartments do offer efficiency apartments that you might be able to afford. Other than that I suggest you get very familiar with the bus schedule and live in Irving. Grapevine is probable cheaper than Addison, if you can stand the high crime rate.
