How does a person find rental housing out in the middle of nowhere. I am starting a job later this month that is located in between Conroe and Cleveland Texas. (It is a therapeutic placement facility, thus the remote location). I want to live in a house, and I need it to be cheap. That pretty much wipes out ALL the apartment complexes and homes in any nearby town and limits my on-line searching ability a LOT. I'm not disappointed though because I know that I am more likely to find the little shacks in the middle of nowhere will be cheaper, and quaint, and I can get a dog and keep my cat, as well as being centrally located to about 5 bigger towns, including Houston, and VERY close to my work.

I can't find ANY links to random landlords in the boonies out there. All I get is snotty apartment buildings. Can you direct me in a search or drop some names?

We are considering relocating and i'm unsure what my best bet is. We will make approx. $15,000 from home sale. We have about $ 20,000 outstanding debt. Is it better from a loan standpoint to take the money and pay down the debt or put as down payment on new house? Our credit scores are average to good but i'm scared our debt may be a negative factor towards us acquiring a new mortgage with a fair interest rate. I've never sold a house before and have only owned this 1 so i'm not sure how to plan this!

We have found the perfect home for very little money and need to buy instead of rent since our oldest starts high school next year. My credit probs are due to divorce and my husbands due to him being unemployed for a period of time. We can afford the home payments just can't find the loan. HELP!!!!

My boyfriend and I are looking for a house together. We are both first time home buyers and don't really know where to start with the process. If anyone would be able to help me figure out where to start that would be great.
We have a price range, general location, and we know we want a basement and a garage. If the house needs would that's okay too, we DO NOT want land contract or renting.
Also, is there a site I can go to were I don't have to pay for foreclosure listings?

i have a large studio flat that i rent out in Alexandra House in Leicester. My letting Agent tells me that prices for rentals and Values are going down rather than up. I find this strange as all i hear about is how prices are going up, but I live in London. Any news please........

I live on my own and own my own bungalow, the bungalow is only in my own name. Is it possible to make sure the bungalow can not be sold off by the government if I ever have to go in a home? If it is, how do you do this and how much is it likely to cost.

The landlord requires the rent in one check. My roommate and I had a fight over two months ago, but she still wants to remain mad at me after I apologized (even though I dont think I did anything wrong). She is totally rude to me, not even civil. Ignores me if i ask her a question or cuts me off in my talking.

The landlord told me in November that he was 2 months behind on the morgage payment. He has been receiving the rent from the 2 appartments in the house. I just found out 3 days ago from the girl upstairs that all of this was happening. I live in PA. So, I went to the Sheriff's office to see if it is true and it is. They suggest I move before then. So, am I obligated to pay him rent any longer?
