I need to buy a 2 bed property in Essex. The house prices are crazy! I earn too much to get help from council etc but not enough to buy.
Have looked at shared ownership schemes but they are reserved for key workers and people on the housing register (which I am not on because apparantly I earn too much).
Any suggestions??

My arm will adjust from 5.5% in December 2007. I'm not sure we will refi since we plan to move from this home in the fall. However, if we do stay (in case home takes longer to sell) what will interest rate adjust to? Prime is at 8.75% now? Does it adjust to that rate? Just asking.....

I am interested in the house flipping industry and would like to give it a try. Does anyone know of a good company to get the initial capital or of anyone looking to partner with me ? I have been in the construction industry my entire life. My great grandfather, my grandfather, my dad and his six brothers are all builders. I have been self employed since high school in the construction industry. So I believe I can make a very good profit on a flip by cutting the remodeling cost down tremendously. Any help or offers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

What type of loan should I be looking for, for a first time home buyer with zero money down?

We both have credit scores of over 750 and our combined income is over 120k. What type of programs could we qualify for to get the best deal?

We're looking at a place at is going to be between 350-400k.

Other than the special types of programs out there, I'm looking at either a 80/20 or a 100% financing. Would a loan officer help us decipher the best deal between the two?

Thanks

I am closing my business in Florida and it is a "S" corp. I have 5 years on my comercial lease left. How do I go about it. Do I disolve the corp or do I file corp bankruptcy. I am not sure if the landlord will try to sue me personally or if he is able to. Should I send the landlord a certified lettter stating we are closing? Any advice would be great. thanks

I am in the middle of a move. It is proving to be a bit of a nightmare. The legal work for the purchase is coming along nicely although it hasn't even started for the sale. My solicitor has written to my buyer's solicitor to ask if they are acting on his behalf and they have yet to confirm this in writing (this has been going on for four weeks now). I am suspicious that the buyer has pulled out. My estate agent is being very unhelpful and untruthful. His solicitor has been recommended by them and they are arranging his mortgage. I spoke to them last week and they said we would be exchanging contracts this week and they tried to pressure me into moving out early. I have signed up to a sole agency with them until mid-May but if my buyer has pulled out I would like it back on the market asap preferably with another estate agent. What are the implications of going on the market with another agent? Will I end up having to pay two lots of commission?

I just inherited 12.5 acres of land in Lexington, North Carolina that does not have road access. There is a strip of land in front of us for about 650 ft to the closest road. Across that road is a manufacturing plant. The plant owns the land in front of us that we would like to cross. (nothing but trees on the land). We are in the process of finalizing the plans to build a house now. The plant told us 2 months ago that they would give us an easement to the land, only to find out today that is not the case. They say it will devalue the land to give usthe access. so here's the question, can someone refuse to give you a right-of-way/easement to the nearest road (no other roads are even within a mile or 2 and there are other houses in the area)

I looking to purchase a home in the near future and have started looking around. I had across some PUD (not HUD) homes. I had never heard of them and didn't know much about them. I look at what they were and they are like condos but more of a house not like an apartment. I would like to know what peoples opinion are of them or experiences they've had in PUD homes.
