Ok, here's the deal. A good friend and I currently rent a two million dollar house on Wrightsville Beach, NC. It's right on the water, it has a boat slip, and it's great for having people over. However, I also feel like I'm throwing money away renting. So should I rent a two million dollar house, or buy a two hundred thousand dollar house?

I live in PA and my landlord sold the mobile home I live in. He told me 3/25 via phone call he sold it and sent me a letter dated 3/26 stating the same thing. He claims that since he sold the dwelling, he has no real responsibility in terms of giving me time to move out. He said the new owner are taking possession and are "willing to let me have two weeks to find a new place to live". Is this legal? PA tenant law says I have 30 days if i was evicted (because it was before April 1) but he claims that since he sold it, he doesn't have to give me 30 days. He also says the letter he sent me isnt an eviction notice, just a letter telling me he sold the trailer and how long i have to find a new place.

i informed my landlord on saturday that the boiler wasnt working properly and that i had no hot water. it is now tuesday night and it still isnt fixed. am i entitled to a reduction in rent for this week my son and i havent been able to have a bath or shower and have had to boil the kettle for strip washes which is a bit pathetic for this day and age. i am really annoyed with them and think it is fair to ask to pay less.

I just need to know what all the pros and cons are about being signed up with them. I picked the area I wanted to live in and they said they have 2 buildings available and I guess they have to show them to me and I have to decide which one I am going to live in. I am now just waiting to hear from them after giving them my aplication and the other things they needed. How much are the full rents of the buildings they own or does it depend on what state and city you are in? Do they put the young people and the old people in the same building or do they seporate them? I'm just wurried that I might be too loud if I am living next door to an elderly person.

I lived in one for two years when I got married and I don't consider myself white trash and my mother in law lives in a very nice one and my son is wanting one and this may be the only way he can own a home of his own and he certainly is not white trash. You certainly see alot of people that live in traditional homes that could be considered white trash.

Yesterday 26 March i was at the property in question with vendor, who informed me that as i was paying less than he had originaly wanted, he was no longer going to fit an alarm system or have any landscaping done to property. At my second inspection of property prior to signing an agreement to purchase the vendor had shown me around "Here will be some grass, up there some trees/plants and of course an alarm system. Before signing the contract he reneged on something he offerd ie fridge and microwave which i made the mistake of signing. I find this man i am dealing with is of
very poor character and yes yesterday i found out i wont be
getting the things he originally promised me. Can he get away with this? Help Cheyenne
