My house is in North London and the letting service was quoted at 10% but the full management is 15%

is this reasonable?

Thanks

10% sounds about right for a single property. If it were a complex (multiple units) you might get a break. Usually there are also charges for advertising it to let and getting a lease any time it needs to be let/re-let.

You did not specify what full management entails (what you get for the additional 5%). Does it include all maintenance without additional cost to you, etc?

sounds about right, but in my experiance they dont tend to do a lot - if your tenant is on benefit and they get overpaid they will still try and get the overpayment off you. Your agent wont step in for you.

I live in Edinburgh and the minimum is 12.1/2 per cent - so I think it is reasonable.
