Loan Company is asking for $300.00 for an apprasial.
I've always been told that it was a law that the loan company had to automatically stop deducting this fee when the loan to value ratio was @ 75% or less.

I'm trying to find out what type of court house that I can go to to find foreclosures. I'm not interested in buying yet but just want to know the exact info and don't want to do the footwork. Thanks!

I failed to give a response in 5 days so the court gave a judgement for an eviction. It was based on not paying my deposit in full, I have in writing that the landlord said we could make 200.00 payments until it was paid and he has gone back on that.

My son has inherited land that is no where near where we live, though it is in the same state. I was wondering if we could sell it on his behalf since we cant afford upkeep or taxes, and we will no doubt never be able to use it on a regular basis. W're in PA if that is relevant and its used as a hunting cabin.

I've been trying to figure out if it's worth using a bi-weekly payment schedule for my mortgage. I don't know what equation to use in order to see if it's worth doing every month. Any help would be appreciated!

Any idea why they would want it? The request makes me uncomfortable, because that's all anyone needs for identity theft, and I have no guarantee their records are secure. I've not had a chance to talk to them yet, but was curious to see if anyone had any input before I did so.

I signed a 2 year lease. My landlord has decided to go with a new property management comapny. We have had so many problems here that we really want to move. Is it possible that by changing companies we are also able to get out of our lease?

The property management for our apartment complex is changing soon. We currently have a lease w/ the existing property manager through the spring of 2008. The new property mgmt will be taking over our leases soon, and I believe we will have to re-sign with them. However, they are changing policies including their pet policy, which will increase our rent.

Where should I look to find out if I have the right to opt out before the new property mgmt takes over? Will there be an item in their lease that mentions something like this, or should I look at my current lease?

Thanks for any help.

My fiance are getting married in six months. We plan to buy a house together before the wedding.

My credit score is excellent (over 750). Hers is in the good range (around 650-700), but it's only because she has student loan debt...she's never missed a payment or been late.

I know I would get a very good interest rate and would qualify for the full amount if I applied for the loan without her on the application. If we applied as co-applicants, would I introduce the risk of us getting a higher interest rate because of her score being a little lower?

If that were the case, does anybody have any recommendations on whether it's possible to have me as the only name on the mortgage but be able to add her to the title at or after the close?
Thanks!

My fiance and I make between $84-88,000 a year depending on her overtime at work. We don't have any kids yet, and the only debt we have is my $525 a month student loan payment. I think we can afford it, am I correct in saying this? We have $20,000 for a down payment. Thanks.

My company signed a 3 year lease/option contract for a building that was onwed by a widowed women. But before we could initiate the option to buy she died one year later. Her only daughter later on inherited all her assets and told us we must signed and negotiate a new contract. Do we have to negotiate a new contract or do she have to honor the contract that we had singed with her mother before she died?

I'm looking to buy a home, and my parents have said they would help me with a down payment. I really don't have that much saved due to some unforseen circumstances the last few years, and so I was wondering if it's worth putting what money they give me towards the down payment of a house, or should I put some of it towards that, and save some of it for other unforseen expenses, or should I have nothing down, and use all of it for other homeowner expenses? I'm not sure how much my parents could give me, maybe 10% down or something like that, and they won't just give me the money to do whatever I want with, it would have to be invested in the house in some way.

For example if I own a 2400 sqft house in the best neighborhood in town and know the appraised value for the year 1999...What percentage rate could I anticipate the property's value to increase by annually? 2%? 5%? I'm trying to determine an approximate value now considering that there have been no major rennovations to the home.
