If I buy an apartment building, do I have to honor old leases?

Do the same rules apply to commercial leases as well? Would love to find the law/statute for Ohio.

You do have to respect those leases only until they expire..after that you can do what ever you want. you can put them on a new lease or have them on a month to month bases.
