I signed a 2 year lease. My landlord has decided to go with a new property management comapny. We have had so many problems here that we really want to move. Is it possible that by changing companies we are also able to get out of our lease?

I highly doubt that changing management companies is grounds to terminate a lease. That being said, it's possible that the problems you've had are enough to get you out. You should contact your local housing authority for information specific to your area.

Not likely. If there are too few rentals however, you may try to tell the property manager that by letting you out of your lease that they can raise the rate and get another renter.

You're still likely to be responsible for payments until another person is secured.

Not unless the verbage on your lease specifically states that you have that right.

However, if you are having problems that can be attributed to the landlord or you have a "lemon" rental unit you may be able to go in that direction with a lawyer.

I doubt it. You made a contract with the owner, not the manager. The old management company was acting as the owner's agent.

Besides, maybe a new management company will solve a lot of the problems. Give them a chance.
