If my real estate agent license is expired and I am not working as a real estate agent(because I was never good at it), and I am trying to purchase a home from an owner directly, do I still need to disclose that I am or I was a real estate agent?

I'm not aware of any reason you would have to disclose that information. You are not a licensed agent at the time of the transaction.

What was, is what was. You are a regular person, no different from an electrician or a plumber, or bank officer.
don't worry about it. Good luck on the home.

No; you are not a licensed real estate agent. The disclosure would only apply if you were still licensed and actively engaged in representing clients.

If your license has expired and you are no longer affiliated with a principle broker then there is no need for you to disclose a status that does not exist. Good luck with your home purchase

you are not a real estate agent simply because you do not have license to practice, therefore disclosure is not necessary

This being the case you're not obliged to let the seller know that you're a licensed Realtor.
