There are nice places to live in Broomfield as well as a neighbooring city called Lafayette. What is nice about living in Broomfield or Lafayette is that you are in the middle the two major cities Boulder and Denver.
1) Boulder http://www.bouldercolorado.gov/ is an awesome, one-of-kind city, very beautiful and down to earth.
2) Lafayette http://www.cityoflafayette.com/
3)Broomfield http://www.broomfield.org/

Broomfield's actually not so bad, but you're near Boulder and Lafayette as well. If you want to commute, Denver's about half an hour away and there's a number of suburbs in-between. Depends on what you want in your community.
