My sister just married some kinda moneymaker and they want to buy a home that just got built in Laguna Hills, CA. I told them to really think about it 'cause of the landslides, winds, non-privacy, but I think they're gonna tint the windows for privacy. I still think it's not safe 'cause glass just seems to weak to live in. The husband did mention the house is made of some type of petrosal glass. What do you guys think? Should they just rent or buy something else?

CA has very stict building codes because of the earthquakes we have from time to time. If the house was built to code, I wouldn't worry about the structure. But depending on the location, you may be right to worry about the mudslides. Winds aren't really a problem in that area.

Metaphorically speaking, are you throwing stones? haha.

It's their prerogative, they will do what they want to do.
