I'm not very happy with my current job and am thinking about going back to school. I have a Bachelors Degree and have been working for about two years years now. What are good jobs to consider from the Healthcare Field that would not require a four degree and are going to be needed in the future?

I really need to get a job over the summer, however my parents have planned two weeks of vacation, one in June and the other in July. I have to move back to the city where I go to school in early August. Should I still get a summer job and how likely will some company hire me, since I'll be gone for two weeks out of the two months I'm willing to work?

Also, what kind of job should I apply to, one that will allow me to be gone for two weeks out of the summer?

I spend a lot of my time at gymnastics and especially during the summer and im going to be volunteering at a hospital. I would really love to know a job that I could potentially apply for that has flexible hours and doesn't really interfere with my schedule too much. I do a lot of morning hour gymnastics like 9-1 and 8-12 but some days i go 12-4. Please help!

My friend's company is going thru' too many changes. Most are looking for another jobs as the company might not survive.
My friend has just started looking too.

Her boss has found another job but has not turned in resignation yet. The boss is going around telling her friends at work she is going to take my friend there to the new job if she is interested.

The boss keeps saying atleast she will have a job to go to. With all the office gossip my friend has also learned that the Boss's new job/department is in a big mess and she is not looking forward to it as things were very smooth at the current job. A couple of positions at the new job need to be replaced.
Many of the office gossipers feel that the boss wants my friend for clean up of mess and not for genuine reasons.
What do u think? Is the boss not genuine? What does the comment "she will have a job to go to mean"? Is the boss taking advantage of the situation?

I recently went on an interview where I checked off that I do not want my present employer contacted. In the interview, I discovered one of the five people I met with used to run the area where I presently work and I informed him that my direct manager is aware that I am interviewing and can be contacted, but I prefer if that was the only person he contact if needed , as I do not want everyone to know ( I spoke to my manager about possibly interviewing elsewhere and he said he would keep it quiet). I called in sick the day of the interview as opposed to taking a personal day and the next day the head of my department (who it turns out was hired by the interviewer years before) told me I had to take a personal day and not a sick day for where I was yesterday. I don't know if the interviewer told him prior to me going (which I suspect) or after the interview, but I have two questions. One, is what the interviewer did legal? Two, it is unprofessional and what might I do about it? Tks

I'm interviewing for a nursing internship position w/a local hospital on Monday.

I have no idea what to wear - I went shopping and everything seemed inappropriate.. I feel silly wearing a full conservative suit cause I'm not a lawyer or anything, but I'm full sized (16) and can't wear a lot of various fashions. The only suits that I find make me look like I'm 60 (I'm 28) and all the outfits that I find are more casual..

what's a happy medium? Young and stylish, but conservative enough for a job interview?
I've tried NY and Company, Kohls, Target, (did I mention I was on a budget?)

I dont know the whole story but I wish that he would of just keep his mouth shut, even if the bosses were wrong, I think he should of bit his tongue, so we would still have a contract and not a bad report on us now! I dont have a back up job,and they left me no time to find another job, and I have bills and a family, and now no JOB!!!! AAHHH :(

I've worked at this place for over a year now and there's a new girl in the office. She's nice to everyone else but is two-faced. When we're working together without anyone else or if there's no one within hearing range she's really sarcastic and rude. She doesn't take advice from myself or any of the other co-workers. I want to make this work; I love my job. But I need help on how to deal with her! Please advise. Thanks.

I had an interview tuesday morning and they said they would probably have a decision by the end of the week. Today is Friday and I am wondering if I should call around 3p to let them know i'm still interested and see if i am still under consideration. I already sent a thank you via email the day of my interview. I don't want to seem too pushy, but since it is for a recruiter position, I am wondering if it makes sense to be a little more assertive.

would you spend alot of money towards a service that could help you get to your goal faster, meaning they take some of the workload and push you like a coach or something out of your comfort zone to achieve it. or would you save the money, stay comfortable, and slowly work towards it. i guess its a question of how bad do you want it. lots of money vs. your goal, which would you pick?
