Being an asl interpreter!!! That's what I'm in college for now! I think ASL is the most beautiful language in the world! It is so expressive and beautiful to watch!!! Being a shrink, you constantly hear about peoples depressing lives and their hard times and they expect you to fix them somehow!!! For me a simple choice!!!

As shrinks can make 10 times what an ASL translater makes, go for shrink. You'll have to spend another 8 years in school after college however.

Why does it matter which sounds cooler? The thing that really matters is that you are happy with your choice. If you are seriously asking this question, then you either 1) need to just pick one and move on with life, or 2) you need to trash both of these ideas and pick something that really interests you enough that you don't care whether other people think it's cool or not.
This might sound harsh, but people go through this kind of thing quite frequently, and it usually comes down to one of these two things. Good luck deciding.
