I formally accepte the positon. I don't yet have a start date. I want to assume they ran a background check already, before the 2nd interview perhaps, but I am not certian. I have poor credit, due to some fradulent issues. All my student loan debt is in good standing and all my current credit cards are in good standing. I also have added personal comments to all 3 reports saying that some information is incorrent and is being investigate. Can they take back their offer? Or am I just freaking out?

I'm 17 and would like to gain some work experience.
I would be interested in handling any administrative work, any simple or menial task in any known company, showroom, etc.
It doesnt have to be a paid internship, I jus need a reputable name and some experience.
Any idea what should I look at and where to start?

I need a business suit for upcoming job interviews. I went to Macy's and JC Penny this weekend. They had plenty of them but I found out that the jacket is one size for me and the pants are a different size. Is there any place where I can buy them separately?

I'm applying for a job that requires you to fill out an application at the job but they also want resumes with the application. I've been taught to put both in an envelope but that's when you are mailing or giving them to that person. So now I'm lost and don't know whether to pre-stable or what. Please help. Thank you!!!

i work in a pretty popular japanese restaurant and ive only been working there about a week but i was curious because i thought that if waitress earned less than minimum wage then they got to keep all their tips. however my employer deducts 30% from everyone's tips. is this legal???

It has come to my attention that, at least, one grocery store plays a little game involving the question title. It really is simple in explanation. The clock up front is three minutes faster than the clock you punch your timecard on. The rules state that you are not allowed to punch in more than four minutes early for your shift. As a side note, there is only one punch-clock and it takes, supposedly, about a minute to walk from the front to it. They never seem to change this time difference no matter how many employees bring this to their attention. Is there a name for this tactic/game?

My daughter (5 yrs) may get chance to get a break in modeling. I am in a delimma that should I further concentrate on modeling career or go normal schooling way to take conventional career path. I am 14 and called several places to get a summer job and haven't found one yet. No businesses that I know of hires 14 year olds. I was thinking about babysitting or cleaning houses but my dad said that they are strangers and I shouldn't. I would ask my family but their houses are clean, and if I did babysit for them I wouldn't get that much money because it wouldn't be a daily thing. I was also thinking about walking dogs or something like that because I love animals and my parents would let me do that, but I wouldn't know how to ask peope, and I don't know if anyone even needs their dogs walked. I DON'T want to be a delivery person, a life gaurd, do that thing where you make money on the computer, or anything like that though. I REALLY want a summer job so that I can make money. And I want to make a good pay for a job. Can someone PLEASE help me??? I don't know what to do???

I'm wondering whether or not I should get a second job over the summer because I make about $200 a month and I'd like to make more money to pay for gas since gas is expensive. I start college in the fall and this summer all my friends are going away. I'd like to take the opportunity to spend some time with my friends before they all ship off to college. I will not be able to see them until next summer. I don't want to regret anything when I start school.

However, this one temp agency is interested in making me a part of their team. I'm not sure what the hours would be like though.

What do you think I should do?
