Staffing agencies: Which ones are good and which are bad?

What should I look for in a staffing agency and what kind of experiences have you had? Please include names of companies which have worked for you and which ones you recommend avoiding.

They are all marginal. Want you to jump through hoops and then they snail on getting back to you.
That is the way they work in Las Vegas.
Any town got a better report.

if the company pays them to find you ------ good

if you pay them to find the company -----------bad
