College Majors???? NEED HELP?

My Daughter is 16 and she is deciding which college she wants to go to but she doesnt know what majors to take. She wants to be a Fashion Editor at a Fashion Magazine like Vogue and Such for example for the people who have see devil wears prada and ugly betty she wants to have the job as they guy with the big glasses in dwp and christina in ugly betty. but she does not no wht majors to take and i have an idea but no exactly so can u guys help me on to help her decide wht majors to take thanks!!!

If your daughter wants to be an editor, she needs to be a journalism major. She'll be able to write/edit for the university newspaper and get some good experience while she's still in school. The good thing about the journalism major, is that most universities require a minor with it. I was a journalism major and minored in criminal justice. Now I write for a local newspaper covering all things cops and courts. If your daughter wants to work for a fashion magazine, she should major in journalism and minor in some kind of design/art field.
