I've worked at this place for over a year now and there's a new girl in the office. She's nice to everyone else but is two-faced. When we're working together without anyone else or if there's no one within hearing range she's really sarcastic and rude. She doesn't take advice from myself or any of the other co-workers. I want to make this work; I love my job. But I need help on how to deal with her! Please advise. Thanks.

Ask her up front if she has a problem with you or if you did something wrong in her eyes. Let her know that you're just trying to help her out and you want to help make it a cool place for the both of you. If it continues let your supervisor know about her ways. If you can stop advising her without the both of you getting in trouble, do so and allow her to fall flat on her face.

lol , let her be, shell think she can get away with it, then shell start to get worse so everyone else notices, dont be a tattle tale over something so petty. Your boss unless they r drunk or not at work notices EVERYTHING you do (thats what they get payed to do), even your pc and keystrokes made on it are recorded. Pay less attention to them and more attention to your work, and mabey you can get a promotion away form them for being a hard worker. Either way, being rude isnt a crime, and itll get some people further than the ones that let it bother them. Bad things happen to bad people, what goes around comes around ect. Its true, that also means people who focus their time on others and not themselves will not acheive any advancements, unless of course you are a philosopher or a counselor/psych. Just ignore it, things will happen how they should.

As a Manager i can tell you that, most of all you will know first off they will not make it.A two faced person either can't handle the job,or in the long run will fall back and not have a job.It all depends on the job and people, but i know alot of those i work with those and there noticed!

Do you have to deal with her? If not, just do your own things and ignore her. Why you need to give her advice? Just let her to bump into the wall! Just think of yourself as a classy person and she is the low class two-face. She is not in your dimension!
