I had an interview tuesday morning and they said they would probably have a decision by the end of the week. Today is Friday and I am wondering if I should call around 3p to let them know i'm still interested and see if i am still under consideration. I already sent a thank you via email the day of my interview. I don't want to seem too pushy, but since it is for a recruiter position, I am wondering if it makes sense to be a little more assertive.

I would recommend you make the call next week. Calling them today is like a child asking for something when they know what the answer is already.

Calling on the day of the decision would definitely be considered, pushy. If you were going to make a follow up call it should have been the day after the interview, and then, only to thank the interviewer.
