Wait a few more days, then call them and ask them if they know when they'll have their payment ready. Next time they call you, make sure you've informed them of an increase in your rates. Explain them, and don't let them haggle or anything.

They haven't paid you??????? That's horrible! Well depending on your age if you were my daughter I'd be calling those people and getting your money for you. But if you're on your own, theres no better way than to just rip the band aid off fast and do it. Call them up and say,
*" Hi, Mr. ??? I'm calling about MY payment for Saturday night. When would be a good time for me to come pick it up? "

As for an increease in price, Next time they call you up agin just be straight up say,
"Hey not a problem I can sit for you this Saturday, but just to let you know I've increased my rates to $$$$. What time do you want me there? "
If they have any objections they can either tell you to forget it or accept it.

Or "I'm going to be in your neighborhood and thought I'd swing by and get my payment for Last night."

What ever you choose to say, say it with confidence and authority, remember this was a buisness proposition, not a favor. If they hear any fear or doubt in your voice they'll keep stringing you along till you give in.

Don't be nervous. It is a normal couse of business.
Just call them and ask if you can stop by to pick your money.
A lot of people don't carry cash, maybe they can write you a check if you have a savings account you can deposit or cash it.
As for the raise, just tell them your rates went up and your new rates are X. Ask if that is OK, or do think that is too high. Let them know you are responsible and a good baby sitter.
