Okay there is this chick i work with

I'm in my late 20's and she is like 47 or 49 something like that.

She like takes This job super serious and acts like nobody can do it like she can which is a laugh.

I've tried to be nice to her but she doesn't seem to get it. Words like Hi, How are you, Don't seem to comprehend well with her and when i try to have a conversation with her she either gives a one word answer or"well that's a dumb question" or something of that nature, She obviusely doesn't care about being nice, there are people there that like her including the boss. There are also people that don't like her as well.
i don't have to communicate with her but i just try to with everybody and just about everybody seems to be cool.

Do you think i ought to just ignore her and not say anything to her, or do you think i ought to continue trying.

The supervisor is given temporary security access to create an email distribution list and emails me yesterday to ask if I would send him the last 4digits of SSN. I did not reply b/c I was going to talk to him directly today. When I got to work, he said dont worry about the email b/c he called HR this morning and they gave it to him over the phone.

Why people don't hire them if they are 3 or 4 months pregnant? Or even try to get rid of them once they found that they are pregnant.

I took three days off when my little sister past away she was only 21 years old. Then my employer is threating to take away three days of personal time if I do not bring in the only program I have. I refuse because I am not going to give the program I have. Another thing about it is that I work at a company with 40 other people. They know who I am. I never broke the issue of trust but for some reason they act like they can't trust me. They think that I did not go to the funeral or that I never had little sister.

I work as a manager at a pizza place. I have been working there for quite sometime.

My boss just told me that there is a resturant selling for REALLY cheap, and that if I wanted to buy it, he'd loan me the money. He has a lot of faith in me, and would like to see me run my own buisness. He said that I should get my sister to help me run it and we'd be 50/50 partners.

It is a big step, and my sister is all for it, but I am a little uneasy. I love what I do, I do it well. I am good with customers, and I don't mind putting in extra hours if nesscisary.

My dream since I was 16 was to teach. I want to be that teacher that everyone rememebers from elementary school. I cant do that if I am running my own buisness.

Both of these thing, I really really want to do, so I am between a rock and a hard place...

Whats a girl to do?!?

♥B

Oh, and please don't say "follow your heart" because my heart is in both things... :)

Thank you!

In my area, design and tech firms are generally casual attire kinds of places (I can wear slacks and a nice sweater or shirt and be fine for an interview). However, I'm interviewing at a local university for a position there. I'm in my mid-20s, so I don't want to look too stuffy or pretentious. I should add that I'm female, but don't dress particularly feminine, so a skirt and blazer is out of the question. I only own 1 suit, and it's in the main color of the university, so I'm reluctant to wear it. Basically, should I be wearing a suit, slacks and a jacket, or just slacks and a business-casual shirt? Any help is appreciated.

I am doing temporary work and I am trying to set-up interviews with other companies but I am afraid that the company I am working with will find someone else and I need the job. I really need advice on what to do and how I can go on these interviews. Should I tell the company that I am going on the interviews and risk getting fired, also I know that they are worried because their last temp left the assignment early. What should I do?
