I was informed when signing up for Internet Service that if I put something in writing before my subscription date that I could continue to pay the discounted rate of $14.99 on request for continuing services with AT&T. I have written a letter and also would like to know what address to send it to for speedy processing. Lisa Keenan

Check your original contract. If it's not in there, it doesn't matter what you were told, the written contract rules. A contract cannot be extended by only one party, and big ISP's have little reason to continue such a low price to an existing customer.

When your contract is about to expire, threaten to leave the plan. The company will almost always offer you a great deal.
