Make sure you are clean and do not wear clothing with holes. When preparing your resume make certain you have used spell check and correct all errors. Since your resume will probably be rather limited (no prior employers) include a section on the resume for Hobbies: enjoy woodcrafting (as an example), animals.....
If you get an interview tell them you are hard worker, build yourself up! GOOD LUCK!

Lucy has good tips. Also though BE ON TIME.. or if possible ten minutes early to the appointment- it shows that you want the job and that you are able to manage your time accordingly. If you have an piercings (ie. nose, lip brow) you might want to minimize them or put in clear studs. Your application should be nice and clean with clear printing- if you can't print neatly- find someone who can or print the application and then always attach your resume. If you want more experience before you apply- you can try volunteering at a local animal shelter to say that you have worked with animals before.
Good Luck!

Do not wear jeans or too much make up. Wear dress pants and a nice sweater or shirt. Do not bring your mother or father into the store with you (don't laugh ... kids do it). Smile and ask questions about the store and be prepared to answer questions about what hours you would be able to work!

Your resume should have your education listed, any jobs you have had (including babysitting etc.), and your interests/hobbies.

purely quiet down and wait, sometimes you may call them and ask while interviews are open, or theyll call you and inform you while theyre open for interviews. Im attempting to get a job besides and that i've got by no ability had one (i became SOOO close!!!) lol in any case, in the event that they're truly desperate, i think of ull look ahead to a pair of week or if no longer, a month
