i am 14 and want a job in georgia is it legal to work in a convienent store if you know the owner?

my uncle is trying to get me and my 16 year old cousin a job with people he knows i am 14 is taht posible or should i give up o the idea?

CHECK WITH YOUR STATE LAWS..........
BECAUSE OF SELLING CERTAIN ITEMS LIKE CIGS OR EVEN ALCOHOL PRODUCTS AND OTHERS.

It would be illegal if the store sells tobacco and liquor..Depending on the state you would have to be either 18 or 21 to work in a convenient store that sells tobacco and liquor.

I suggest if you want to work in the store you would get a job as a stock person but not behind the register.
