I have a decent paying job, but I just got transfered to a different department. I sit on the internet all day, bored out of my mind. Only once and a while do they have me do anything. I just feel so worthless, like I should be doing something. Should I just stick with this job, I am afraid to quit because I don't think I will be able to find anything that will pay as well and it is hard to apply for jobs because I am working when the HR is usually in the office, so it will be hard for them to contact me. I am just so bored and feel worthless. Please help.

I have an employee who has really been acting bizarre. She is my daughter's CNA (certified nursing assistant) sitter. Saturday she shows up 1-1/2 hours late and when I ask her what happened, she says she got lost with time in the grocery store. WTF?
Yesterday she couldn't come in earlier than usual b/c of daughter's dentist appointments. I understood and said to come in when she could. 3pm came - no show. No phone call, nothing. I'm on bedrest b/c of high blood pressure with pregnancy in the final weeks and I really have been stressing out. My blood pressure is horrible. I explained to her on Saturday that I need for her to be here and to call if something happens or make other arrangements to be here for me. I called the nursing co that I hired her through. They talked to her this am and she said she got a boil on her face after child appt, swoll up and the doc gave her pain meds which knocked her out. She told her sister to call me but sis never did. I don't believe it

I'm thinking about talking a course in website design and I just need some infomation on it first before I decide to do it. How much do they earn? Can I do it from home? Is it difficult to learn? How much of a demand is there for website designers? Does that career have a future?

Has an interviewer ever made snippy remarks about
your previous work experience or education.
What happened to me when I was younger I worked in
restaurant as a cook for three years,50 hours a week,
never missed work etc.
When I tried to move on to something else and got
an interview at a factory the interviewer said to me
You never really worked before had you? That what
I did before was not considered real work.Said put
down on your application you never worked before.
Said they were not interested in me.I felt insulted because
I was told in school your hard will be recognized no
matter what.

I'm considering a career change to a paralegal. I have a master's degree in psychology, excellent writing and speaking skills, and decent computer skills. I also currently own my own business, which has been successful for the past 10 years, although I am simply bored and looking for something different to do. The current salary I pull from my business is about $70,000. I understand a paralegal would not make this kind of money, but I wouldn't be doing it for the money. I've taken two undergraduate courses, in intro to the legal system and legal writing, and found both interesting and not difficult. Can I simply put my C.V. out there to legal firms and see what happens, or would I require more paralegal courses to improve my chances of being hired?

I am 21. And after I graduated from college I opened a boutique. I had it for about 3 years, I closed it, because the shopping center in that area just died. I did really good at the boutique until all the businesses began to close.
I want to move and start a carreer, but I have no idea what I want to do! I am lost, guess. I have enough money to move am have rent for a few months, but I know I will have to get a job asap. I don;t even know where I want to move for sure, I just don't want to be working in the "family" business for the rest of my life, like I am doing now.

I don't know anyone where I live now, even though I had that boutique. I don't have any friends at all. All i have is my mom, dad and sister. How sad is that?

I am really lost about everything, I just don't know what to do. But I just hate where I live now. Everything about this town sucks, the only thing I like is my house and family

Maybe I want to meet friends or do something w/ my life.

Any advise?
