I'm 27 years old and a college graduate with a B.A. in Art History.
I've been working in the art world for 4 years now, but I don't know if it's something I want to keep doing. I feel like I should go back to school to get a Master's degree, but I don't know what field I'd like to pursue.
I've thought of pursuing a further degree in art, and changing careers altogether to study psychology or business.
As you can see, I'm really confused about my calling in life.
How can I decide what field is right for me? I really need some guidance with this. Thanks!

Lazy jerks, why waste someone's time in writing a cover letter, adjusting resume and such just so they can write you back and say "The position has been filled." Why can't they just delete the ad?

Does anyone know about how to become a Professional Buyer? Is there training involved, or must you go to school for it?

Add into the equation: you don't know the significant other all that well; that person is over the age of 30; that person has some "habits" that you do not like (e.g., using illegal substances); you've been friends with your friend for over 10 yrs; you are a professional (doctor, lawyer, etc.); you have never worked with your friend's significant other.

I am currently about to get my undergrad and i know for a fact that i want to end being a consultant. I am toying with two options. Option one is an industrial engineering degree with a minor in business admin. and computer science. Option 2 is a dual major in manegment science(business informations systems track), and international business and also includes a minor in computer science. Just in case it helps, i speak english, spanish, and portuguese, and would like to do consulting throughout latin america and the usa. Any thoughts on which option would be better?

I went on an interview today in a local car dealership. The manager who interviewed me seemed to think that I was the right candidate for the job, but he could not hire me on the spot because he was obligated to interview until friday (the ad went out yesterday, and I was the second one to interview). The dealership uses a code name (Mr. Smith) in reference to employment inquiries. The gentleman who interviewed told me that he is Mr. Smith. He also gave me his name, (however, I only remember his first name is Ted) and I don't want to make a bad impression by not using the right name. My question is, what name do I use in my thank you letter? Do I use Mr. Smith, or should I call the dealership and find out his correct spelling of his last name? (already checked their website and there is no mention of any of the managers names.) Thank you in advance. :)

I am currently seeking employment from 6am -2pm M-F and someone suggested that I try a telecommute job. But, everywhere I look, it seems that all I find are these scams where you have to pay to earn an income or there is no guaranteed salary. I then saw the article on Good Morning America where they stated that there really is such a thing as a " for real" work at home job in the medical coding/billing field. I would be happy even answering phones or doing customer service work. AS LONG AS IT IS LEGITIMATE ! I am a stay at home mom currently running a small at home business and just want to increase my income. When I went to ABCnews.com they did not really give specifics as to where you would go to get legitimate information regarding this subject. Where do you go to find legitimate information regarding this? Does anyone actually do this for real and for what company?

I am a 19 year old white male in Plant City Florida.
I have NEVER been arrested, have no criminal background, have a completely spotless driving record, i have never been a drinker, NEVER used ANY kind of drugs, and am completely against smoking.
I was on the fast track to graduating my senior year when some family issues arose, and my family split.
I know it isnt an excuse, but i dropped out right past second semester(Please dont harp on that please, i know now how ignorant it was.)
My life is back on track and i have settled with a GED.
With my clean background, is it possible to be accepted into the police academy?( i believe it is)
If so, what is the probability of me becoming a law enforcement officer?
It is what i have wanted to do since i was a little boy, and i have a hard time seeing myself doing anything else.
Bottom lone; can i be a police officer?
