I am writing a letter to apply for a Computer Training Job at the Hospital I where I work. I am keen to get the job. Should I tell them I am keen in the letter. I don't just want to write my experience and then say 'I look forward to hearing from you'. What do you reckon is the best sign off for the letter?

How To Eliminate Poverty.
Ask yourself "how much do i want to win the lotto?
Would you like to spend dollar after dollar trying to win the lotto, only to have some one else get 30 to 40 million dollars?WOW! think about it,30-40 million dollars for one person or one family.....
Thats human greed at it's finest! How about everybody put in thier dollar for the lotto, then we take that 30-40 million dollars and give
one million dollars to 30-40 different people every week.We do this every week and after a few years poverty will be gone.Seems impossible but it would work. Now ask yourself where is the money for the school systems? How can we do this it will destroy the economy!!!!!
NO IT WONT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would'nt you like to get your share of the lotto without hoping you win?Would'nt it be nice to know your name is coming up and your going to get ONE MILLION DOLLARS! Maybe if we the people get together we can change the world.

I have been offered a new job in london and they have informed me of the salary i will be on - however they didn't say if this included 'london waiting'. I was wondring if anyone knows how this works - for example, do all businesses in london exclude LW when quoting salaries or not - and also how much is LW. Enlighten me (serious answers only):

I've been suffering from ADHD all my life and am now taking medications for my ADHD behaviors. I am currently taking Adderall XR 15mg.

My new job requires a random drug test every month or so and I am a bit worried that my drug test will come out positive for drug use. I am taking these drugs legally and can provide my boss with a doctor’s note saying that I have ADHD.

Be that as it may, do you think after providing my boss with all the information proving my condition and reason for taking the drug, does it still provide my boss grounds for firing me?

I found out late friday afternoon that my Father has six blockages in his heart and one of which is 99% blocked. He is going to have open heart surgery tomorrow morning that will include up to 6 bypasses( 09/25/2006). I come to my supervisor trembling and in tears after hearing the news and advise her that I will need Monday and Tuesday off but the leave calender is full. I am told by a shaking of the head that no exception will be made and if I call in to attend his surgery that the days will be held against my dependability which will put me on warning and if another day is missed unapproved I may be terminated. I am shown no compassion and I am made to get back on the phone to service policyholders ( Isuranance Agent, I work in a call center) I can barely get through the call and that same supervisor decided to monitor me on the call and critize me for not doing my closing correctly. I am told I must finiah my shift which had an hour left in it because of calls on hold.
