I am writing a letter to apply for a Computer Training Job at the Hospital I where I work. I am keen to get the job. Should I tell them I am keen in the letter. I don't just want to write my experience and then say 'I look forward to hearing from you'. What do you reckon is the best sign off for the letter?

Obviously you have to exhibit enthusiasm for the job, and make sure you match your experience and skills explicitly against their requirements.

Make sure you write to the person doing the hiring by name.

I am assuming that you are attaching your CV to the letter.

Don't leave the next action up to them. Say in your letter that you will follow up within the week to arrange a meeting to discuss the next steps, and then do that.

Good luck.

Yours faithfully,

Even if you know the person name do not write it in the application letter. This is a formal letter and you are addressing a company not an individual

Yes, tell them you're keen to improve your knowledge and sign the letter, 'yours sincerely' .
