Will you stay in a job if it offers you $3500 per month for a job of a clerk ? End of the day isn't easy job with high pay what most of us want apart from fame and status ?

Stick with it. The pay sounds pretty good, at least where I live. I'm sticking with my job of over 20 years just for that reason. I like the work, I like my coworkers, I absolutely hate the b*st*rds who run the place. So far they have stolen our bonuses and pensions, got us lame insurance and made us pay for it, and treat us like something you step on in a dog park. I can't quit yet because of loans, but my cars and house will be paid off in 4-5 years so then I can get out.

That's not bad pay. I would probably stay in that job and use the money to put myself through school for something that I really want to do that pays better than that. Then, go for a better job.

It depends on individual. Personally, I think the career path is more important than pay. If your career allow you to advance to a more important appointement, when you change your job you can still get the same post but with a better income.
No doubt $ 3,500 for the post is attractive to a lot of us but the career path is very limited and if one day we get retrench, we may find it very diffcult to survive with a lesser pay.

of course. this is easy money and i presume being a clerical staff does not have that much of pressure and responsibility towards the bottomline of the company. hence why not? further, i can make use of the high pay to better myself thr part-time courses, or help others or simply splurge it....

i will stay tho i had made a silly mistake of quitting something similar with a pay of $2K for another with a small increase and work like dog.

considering I'm in a job that makes less then half that.. yes I would keep that job.
