Legally, the age is 13 for most types of work. In reality mainly due to the cost of insurance, most employers will not take you on under 16. The exceptions to this are
Paper rounds age 13. Some hairdressers will employ under 16 for sweeping up type jobs. Boarding kennels will often employ dog walkers under 16 and the odd few privately owned corner shops. Of the major stores it is 16, with the exception of Sainsbury,s who employ at 15

Usually 16 depending on the product's you will be selling if any? But it can also be up to the manager as the whether they are insured to employ someone that young age.

It used to be 14 not sure if it has changed, it is heavily regulated as to the hours and type of work permissible. Of course it does not especially relate to Saturdays but any part of the week for youth employment.
