I've tried fliers and even putting an ad in the newspaper, but I can't get anyone to hire me for babysitting. What else can I try? Any other jobs? How can I get people to notice that I need a job? Also, are there any paying online surveys that will let a 12 year old join? I'm open to any ideas on how I can make money. It's a little urgent..... Also, I can't earn money from my parents, because they hardly have any money right now.

I am currently about to get my undergrad and i know for a fact that i want to end being a consultant. I am toying with two options. Option one is an industrial engineering degree with a minor in business admin. and computer science. Option 2 is a dual major in manegment science(business informations systems track), and international business and also includes a minor in computer science. Just in case it helps, i speak english, spanish, and portuguese, and would like to do consulting throughout latin america and the usa. Any thoughts on which option would be better?

And yes, i do plan to get my mba afterwards, and work to get experience...but strictly looking at undergrads, which option would look best?

my daughter works in 2 residential homes, she has been struggling as she is suffering bi polar disorder, she works 2 sleepover shifts in one home, wich is just to bump her income up.the other day she did her sleepover and called in sick to her other job the following morning, which is council run,and they paid her sick pay.she had a meeting today from her main job to say that if they find out that she worked a nightshift and then called in sick she could face instant dismissal, and it would get taken further as she had commited fraud.can they do that.i know she was ill on the day,and she hadnt called in sick from the council job to work at the other home.
she told them she hadnt worked the night previouse as she panicked, she told me she didnt know she had done anything wrong .it doesnt say in her contract that she isnt allowed to work elsewhere.where would she stand, she would rather give the sleep ins up rather than lose her main job

I work with a doctor that is always late, on the phone with personal calls, buying tickets to sporting events, wandering out of office to make calls between patients. I mean he can get 2-3 hours late with his appointments. I figure I'm being paid, I'll wait all day I don't care. The patients will wait on him for hours and we keep them comfortable and happy, though we feel sorry for them. my other co workers are always rounding him up, enabling him, coddling him and making excuses to the patients for him. literally, taking him by the arm and leading him back to the room, good naturedly. I wish they would let him be, let him suffer his own consequences. DON"T GET ME WRONG: My first allegiance is for the patient. But things will never change if we are always covering for him. I have said before, what if we just let him do his thing, he's an adult, but my co workers say no.

I have been out of work for about 5yrs. and hopefully I will be having a procedure done that may give me back my life! If and when I go back into the work force I am afraid that telling a prospective employer that I had been injured on a previous job will somehow hurt my chances of getting a job. And I feel that I would 'have' to tell them in explaining the time gap since my last job. How would I handle that?
