Paper route, lawn mowing, and other adolescent-friendly type jobs is what you are pretty much limited to. My husband raised bees and sold the honey when he was a teen, but that can result in some pretty painful experiences.

You 'are' able to get a 'work permit' at 14, my teenage daughter was able to get one at 14 but she wasn't able to 'find' a job until she was 15.. She finally got one at a telephone research company, not as a telemarketer but doing surveys for various products, radio stations stuff like that, she got her permit from school with 'my' permission. You might try your local neighborhood store where they know you and maybe cleaning up would be the place to start or some of the other suggestions that were given. You might try dog kennels.. sometimes they hire teens to clean the cages.. :) Good Luck!!

If your parents allow it, check with places like the parks department, maybe you could work very part time, but only with a permit from your parents. There is also the issue of transportation, how are you getting to work. That is always an issue.

theres no actual places unless theres a family owned store or restaurant who's willing to hire you. Officially, you have to be 16 to get any real job, or just stick to baby-sitting or lawn mowing or raking leaves. But if you are involved with the masjid and community, talk to somebody there.

At most places, you need to be 16 and need a State Worker's Permit.

Check grocery stores. At most grocery stores around where I live, you only have to be 14 to be a bag boy. I live Michigan though, it might be different where you live.

Before you turn 16, you should consider babysitting, lawn mowing, or other activities similar to that.
