Maybe you have some feelings for this Professor that you are afraid to share because you don't know what the response will be?

This is common, because he's someone you admire, and now you are working with him as a colleague, not as a student.
Focus on the work aspect, he may be used to being "hit on" by T/A's, and you might end up losing your position - and he's probably not worth it.
After your work is done with him, then, if the sparks are there, you can look for a romance with him, but not while you're working - if you try it and it's horrible, you're still stuck working with him. Like the saying goes, don't get your meat where you earn your bread.

good butterflies or bad ones? sounds like you at the very least respect the person and don't want to let them down. otherwise, the first answerer is probably more accurate.
be very careful about workplace relationships, especially if you are on a grant / stipend from the university... that's got HR nightmare / trouble written all over it! good luck.

Wait a 2nd. while you're a graduate pupil, meaning that he's a pHD which additionally ability he's a wierdo and you're a wierdo for likeing a wierdo. And by ability of wierdo I propose the practise wierdos who're phDs. Of coarse there are exceptions, yet what are the percentages.

your desire to impress him is getting the best of you.unfortunately if you do not over come this feeling soon and if he is unethical he will be laying on top of you sooner than you think.you are good enough to be where you are.pick yourself up before you mix business with pleasure
