If it's what you want to do I'm sure you're settle in and have a great time, have a whole bunch of new mates, learn loads of new skills, plus it's a good way to see the world, but in my grand dad's day they used to say 'we joined the navy to see the world, but what did we see? We saw the sea!'. Good luck, and have fun!

well, hi im cristina, and i think that you have the right to be nervous but before all are you nervous because you dont want to go or because you dont know what to expect? If you volunteered to go then hey just relax and wait for the day to come, your doing something good for yourself and to others so dont be nervous just enjoy those days while your there.

Good on you. It's a career with prospects if you are willing to climb the ladder. If you decide at a later date that it's not for you then at least you have something to add to your CV.

Good for you, your family must be very proud! You will soon be with fellow shipmates, and you will be too busy to be nervous.
